TERMS & CANCELLATION

Foundation Women terms

These terms explain the basis on which Foundation Women provides its educational service and paid products. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Who we are

Foundation Women is a financial-education service. For questions about an account, subscription, cancellation or purchase, contacthello@foundationwomen.co.uk.

Please add the legal trader name and business/registered address to this page before relying on it as the final consumer terms for a public launch.

Educational service

Foundation Women provides general financial education, frameworks, exercises, checklists and record-keeping tools. The content is not regulated financial advice, a personal recommendation, tax advice, legal advice or a promise of financial outcomes. You remain responsible for decisions you make using the information provided.

Financial Progress membership

Financial Progress is £4 per month. It is a recurring subscription and there is no fixed minimum term. The membership continues until cancelled. Your membership starts immediately when you complete checkout.

To cancel, email hello@foundationwomen.co.uk using the email address on your Foundation Women account. We will confirm the cancellation and the effective date. Cancelling stops future payments; access continues through the paid period unless a different outcome is required by law. Cancelling a subscription does not remove any rights you may have under consumer law.

14-day cancellation right

For your initial Financial Progress purchase, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days, starting the day after the contract is made. If you expressly request that the service starts during that period, you can still cancel during it; a proportionate charge may apply for the service supplied up to cancellation where the law permits.

For a one-off digital download, the cancellation right can only be lost once supply begins if you have expressly consented to early supply, acknowledged that you will lose that right, and received the required contract confirmation. This does not remove your rights if the content is faulty or not as described.

If you wish to exercise a statutory cancellation right, email hello@foundationwomen.co.uk and clearly tell us that you are cancelling. You do not have to use a particular form.

Optional cancellation form

You can copy this into an email to hello@foundationwomen.co.uk. A clear statement of cancellation is enough; this form is optional.

To: Foundation Women, hello@foundationwomen.co.uk I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service or digital product: Service/product: Ordered on: Name: Address: Account email: Date: Signature (only if sending this form on paper):

Refunds

If you cancel a purchase under a statutory cancellation right, we will provide any refund required by law, within 14 days of being told of your cancellation, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise and without a refund fee. For Financial Progress, if you ask to cancel within the 14-day period after starting the membership, we may charge for the service supplied up to the point of cancellation only where you expressly requested early access and were informed about this charge, and where the law permits this. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not automatically create a refund for a billing period already started unless a refund is required by law or we agree otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits or removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Digital products

Foundation Women may offer separate paid digital products. Checkout for this product is not yet open. When it becomes available, the checkout page will set out the final delivery and cancellation information applicable to the purchase.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account. Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access another person's account or interfere with the operation or security of the service.

Changes

We may update the service or these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will provide appropriate notice and explain any rights that apply.

These terms are intended as clear consumer-facing information, not a substitute for legal advice. The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 include a 14-day cancellation period for qualifying distance contracts and specific rules for digital content.
