About Foundation Women

Built on a simple conviction: women deserve financial clarity and confidence at every stage of life.

Foundation Women gives women the knowledge, structure and confidence to take greater control of their financial futures.

Why we exist?

In the UK, women currently have a longer average life expectancy than men: 83.0 years for females compared with 79.1 years for males in 2022–2024. Median hourly earnings were £18.87 for women and £20.27 for men in April 2025. These are population-level statistics, not a description of every woman’s circumstances.

Women also take more career breaks and retire with smaller pensions on average. Foundation Women exists to help close that gap with education and structure.

Rebuilding after divorce or a major life change can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re starting again, strengthening your finances or planning ahead, our mission is simple: to give women practical knowledge, support and financial confidence so they can build extraordinary futures.

A framework that starts with you

Most financial platforms are built to sell products. Foundation Women starts with you: where you stand, what matters to you and what you want to build.

Our structured framework helps you understand your financial position, identify your biggest opportunities and turn them into practical next steps. Through four pillars — EMPOWER, BUILD, INVEST and PROSPER — you can strengthen your foundations and work towards lasting financial security.

Know where you are. Know what to do next.

The framework: THE FOUR PILLARS

The four pillars follow a deliberate sequence.

EMPOWER

Know where you stand and understand your financial position.

BUILD

Grow assets, income and financial resilience.

INVEST

Build long-term wealth through pensions and investments.

PROSPER

Create lasting financial security and a future you control.

The framework is designed to keep the foundations in order, so you can build from a clearer starting point.
